Rwanda Unveils Its Inclusive AI Vision
The Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA)'s CEO, Antoine Sebera, has shared Rwanda’s vision for harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive inclusive and scalable innovation. He said the country has made significant progress in technology, with digital systems now integrated into nearly all services used by citizens.
Sebera made the remarks during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Kigali 2025, where he highlighted the National Artificial Intelligence Policy that focuses on skills development, infrastructure, governance, and collaboration to build a trusted, people-centered AI ecosystem.
He also noted that infrastructure sharing among telecom operators, AI-native network investments, and digital literacy programs such as the Digital Ambassador initiative are key to expanding access and ensuring the effective use of AI across Rwanda.
