This milestone strengthens Rwanda’s position as Africa’s hub for testing and deploying cutting-edge aviation technologies, while also aiming to reduce road traffic congestion, boost sustainable mobility, and attract global investment.

Speaking on the development, Rwanda’s Minister of Infrastructure said: “We are advancing toward a future where our cities are better connected and our economy is strengthened through innovative transport solutions.

Our partnership with CRBC provides a strong foundation to introduce new technologies while showcasing Rwanda’s commitment to a safe and progressive regulatory environment for Advanced Air Mobility.”

This groundbreaking initiative highlights Rwanda’s ambition to pioneer air mobility solutions in Africa, further building on its legacy of embracing innovative technologies to accelerate economic transformation.
